About ToolsTopus
ToolsTopus is an independent collection of practical browser tools built and maintained by Ahleylim. The goal is simple: finish common file, text and calculation tasks without requiring an account or uploading private work to our servers.
How the tools are built
Most tools run entirely in your browser. File-processing tools use browser APIs or established open-source libraries; video, audio and some PDF tools load a codec or rendering engine when you start processing.
A tool page should describe what it actually supports. When a browser or format limitation exists, we show it in the interface instead of presenting a simulated result as a real operation.
Testing and quality
Every release runs registry checks, unit tests, a full static production build and automated Chromium tests across all 161 English tool routes. High-risk workflows such as consent gating, file drop handling, language routing and selected file conversions have dedicated interaction tests.
Automated tests do not replace real-file testing. Format and device-specific tools are reviewed with representative inputs, and unsupported combinations are tracked for improvement.
Privacy and advertising
Tool inputs are not intentionally sent to Analytics or advertising services. Optional analytics and advertising require separate consent. Advertising is currently disabled while the site and its content are being reviewed.
When advertising is enabled later, manual route guards prevent it from loading on home, category, favorites and legal/navigation screens. Advertising does not influence tool behavior or our descriptions.
Limitations and corrections
Browser tools cannot replace every desktop application. Large media files can exceed device memory, codec support varies, and financial or health calculators provide estimates rather than professional advice.
If a tool fails, makes a misleading claim or produces an incorrect result, email [email protected] with the tool name, browser and a non-sensitive example. Reproducible errors and policy issues are prioritized.
